Kas graduated Queen’s Law School along with Campbell Bader LLP Partner Nicholas C. Bader in 2004. Kas practised as a sole practitioner criminal defence lawyer from the time of his call in 2005 up until 2011. During that time Kas was retained by clients for matters before all levels Ontario courts, in relation to allegations ranging from murder conspiracy to shoplifting. In 2011 Kas joined a high-paced drinking-and-driving practice as an associate lawyer and remained there until the beginning of 2014 when he joined Campbell Bader LLP. Since joining the firm Kas has brought the lessons learned in criminal trial work to a variety of civil contexts and continues to represent clients charged with criminal offences.
