Kas graduated Queen’s Law School in 2004. Kas practised as a criminal defence lawyer from the time of his call in 2005 up until 2014. During that time Kas was retained by clients for matters before all levels Ontario courts, in relation to allegations ranging from shoplifting to conspiracy to commit murder. Kas has extensive experience in drinking-and-driving-related offences. In 2014 Kas joined Campbell Bader LLP. Since joining the firm Kas has brought the lessons learned in criminal trial work to a variety of civil contexts including civil litigation, family law and construction lien work. Kas continues to represent clients charged with criminal offences.
