Nicholas attended law school at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario graduating in 2004 and otherwise, has lived in Mississauga his entire life.
Nicholas is a business lawyer and offers practical application of the law to the issues facing start-ups, emerging and established businesses. The majority of his clients rely on him for general counsel services and business law with a concentration in information technology, privacy and human resources law. He prides himself in being able to solve legal problems with practical business-oriented solutions as well as providing proactive advice to avoid those issues in the first place.
It is not uncommon for Nicholas to be providing strategic advice concerning the sale or acquisition of a company, incorporating a new business, providing advice on a C-Suite employment contract and negotiating a master service agreement for a technology client in the same day. His clients range from small and medium sized businesses within the Greater Toronto Area and emerging multinationals with operations in Canada, the United States, Europe and Asia-Pacific. He also routinely provides local counsel advice to branch office and subsidiary companies of multinationals. As a result of this work he has developed a keen understanding of the many issues facing companies operating in multiple jurisdictions and has developed a network of trusted advisors and professionals in those jurisdictions.
When not working (and that is not often) you can find Nicholas training at his local Muay Thai gym or spending time at his most important job, his family.
